When Jesus called his followers, his invitation was never to be an isolated Christian. Just as God originally called the Jewish people to be his family, Jesus now calls all people to join the new family of God through his grace. The Christian life is not an individual endeavor, but the Christian life is to be shared with other Christ-followers with whom you can be authentic and transparent. These relationships ultimately cannot be programmed, but we can help put you in places that make these types of relationships possible. Many have found these relationships at Venture through our small groups which meet in homes to share a meal, pray together and to discuss the text and some ideas from Sunday’s sermon.
