Delivery

It so easy for us as American Christians to get lulled into being apathetic about following Christ. Many good people slowly stop caring about the choices that they make, and become less and less of the person God intends for them to be. The byproduct of these choices is suffering. It’s debt. It’s loneliness. It’s emptiness. It’s broken relationships. And few things make people call out to a higher power more than hurt. We turn to God to get us out of the mess that is created because we’ve ignored God in the first place. This cycle isn’t a new occurrence. This is the story of humanity and this is the chorus of the book of Judges. 

We are going to look at some of the Judges that God used to deliver his people from the messes they made with the hope that we can learn how God will deliver us from our messes.
